PUBLICATIONS & prints.

Most of my print designs were for my biggest client, the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution. I’ve designed magazines, books, reports, programs, brochures, posters and many more.

Out of all the print projects, the DistribYOUtion Magazine was the most impactful for the organization. It was an old project that had stopped due to lack of support from readers and leadership. I was brought onto the project to revive and rebrand it.

I designed and created the art direction and concept that involved the name, logo, layout, typography, color scheme, and content management.

My strategizing skills improved drastically throughout the years with each magazine issue. It’s crucial to decide where content, quotes, photos, and graphics will be placed. The flow of the magazine determines the engagement of the readers.

My approach to many prints is to keep it minimal. I understand that my client has a lot of information they want to publish. With that in mind, I don’t want to overwhelm the reader with too many flashy graphic design effects. Instead, I kept a good amount of white space to let the content, photos, and graphics shine.

DistribYOUtion Magazine is both print & digital and gets published quarterly for stake and stockholders to stay updated on DLA Distribution’s latest news and events.

I designed 9 DistribYOUtion Magazine issues that were published to over 35 Distribution Centers located around the world.

Even with the positive feedback I get from readers, I always find room for improvement; experimenting with layouts, color schemes, white space, graphics, photos, and placements of content and quotes.
